LATEST NEWS

This coming Saturday (April 22), we welcome Connah’s Quay Nomads to Park Hall for the final game of the JD Cymru Premier season. The MD32 fixture sees the top two go head-to-head for the fifth and final time in 2022/23.

The four previous encounters (in all competitions and after ninety minutes) have ended with three draws (1-1, 1-1, 0-0) and one win (2-1) for The New Saints.

The most recent game, on March 17, saw Craig Harrison’s side retain the JD Cymru Premier title courtesy of a goalless draw at Deeside Stadium.

Although Connah’s Quay sit immediately below TNS in the table, there is a points gap of nineteen between the sides. In addition, the free-scoring leaders have found the net on 108 occasions, while the visitors are considerably behind on 44.

The goals conceded column though is much tighter, with the Nomads’ 19 comparing favourably to The New Saints’ 16.

For our final league game of the season, we will be wearing green and white hooped shirts, white shorts and socks. The goalkeepers will be in red and blue shirts, red shorts and socks.

Neil Gibson’s team will be in all-black and the ‘keepers in all-yellow.

Alex Livesey is the appointed referee and he will be assisted by Ashley Davis and Connor Thomas. Siôn Davies is the fourth official.

If you’re not at the game in person, you can follow the action on our Twitter account or TNS Radio via our Facebook page/website home page.

The kick-off time is 12.45 p.m. and after the final whistle the JD Cymru Premier trophy and individual winners’ medals will be presented by Dai Griffiths and Rhys Hughes, on behalf of the Football Association of Wales.

Following that, we will be presenting our annual club awards at Park Hall and all are welcome.

Henstone Distillery – who have been sponsoring our MOTM awards this season – will be at the game themselves, where free gin tasting will be on offer.
