The New Saints’ head coach, Anthony Limbrick, has paid tribute to the club’s unsung heroes after winning the JD Cymru Premier’s Manager of the Month award for a second time this season.

Eager to show that the victory was very much a team effort, the Australian arranged a photoshoot following training at Park Hall in order to shine a light on a number of different departments throughout the club. 

In the photo above are representatives from The Saints’ Academy set-up, catering, cleaning and media departments, alongside the entire first-team coaching staff, highlighting the important role they all play in the on-field success of the team.

Speaking afterwards, Limbrick said: “I think it’s really important to recognise that, without the people working hard behind the scenes, winning these types of awards wouldn’t be possible. 

“It really is a team effort, and everyone from the cleaners and catering team, right through to our Academy coaches all play their part. 

“I’d like to thank everyone for their hard work so far this season. It really does make the job easier when you have a superb team behind you.”
