The JD Cymru Premier has announced the Manager Of The Month (MOTM) award for August and we’re pleased to announce that it has gone to Anthony Limbrick.

With The New Saints registering four wins from as many games, the 100% start to the season impressed the panel as they reached their verdict.

Getting the campaign underway with a 4-1 victory on the road against Newtown AFC, this was followed by a 5-3 at home the following weekend, with Caernarfon Town the visitors to Park Hall.

The other wins were both 1-0 – against Haverfordwest County (away) and Flint Town United (home) respectively.

Although beyond the criteria for the MOTM award, August also witnessed the 4-2 home leg win against FC Viktoria Plzeň. The return, a week later, saw the game go to extra-time, with The New Saints exiting the competition on penalties.
