The New Saints of Oswestry Town are delighted to announce the signing of Scottish international defender Steve Saunders.

Saunders made his debut for Scotland in 2010 against the Faroe Islands and has played for Motherwell, Ross County and Dumbarton.

Comfortable at both centre back and right back, the Rutherglen-born Saunders will wear the number 15 shirt for The Saints.

The 25-year-old Saunders has signed a two year contract with the Welsh Champions.
